Focus of the Year

The school continues to enhance the language programmes through participating in the Scheme on Early Language and Literacy Development in Chinese and English Language of Young Children organised by the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research in this academic year, further strengthening teachers’ professional knowledge and skills of teaching Chinese and English languages. Teachers can create different contexts to enrich children’s exposure to language learning by adopting diverse teaching strategies, through which they can strengthen their language proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and arouse their interest and proficiency in language learning.
