Resources for parents
We attach great importance to home-school cooperation.
We foster close connections and mutual exchanges with parents through various channels, including face-to-face, small group, or phone meetings before and after school,
as well as open classes, parents’ day, parent volunteers, parent educational activities, school news, and bulletins.
Through these activities, parents can keep abreast of the latest school development and have a better understanding of child growth status and developmental needs in diverse aspects.
Home-school Communication
Our school holds a series of annual events, including the new semester parents’ day, open class week, parents’ tea gatherings, and achievement sharing day. Through participating in these events, parents can get to know more about the school’s latest development and their children’s school life. In turn, they will have a better understanding of our school’s curricula and home-school collaborations can be strengthened. In the first and second semesters, we also hold parents’ day on which class teachers have face-to-face meetings with parents individually and report to them their children’s learning outcomes in various aspects. Thus, they will have a better understanding of their children’s learning progress and capabilities.
Parenting
The school regularly holds a broad variety of parent educational activities, including parent talks, workshops, parent open classes, parent-child groups, among others, through which parents can enhance parenting skills and boost their confidence in childcare. In turn, they will join hands with us to nurture children together.
Parent Volunteering
We have establishing a “parent volunteering team” to encourage parents to participate in school activities like “Storytelling Parents”, parent-child volunteer visiting and assisting in outing, based on their own interest and schedule. The programme aims at allowing parents to understand children’s school life and the work of the school, and providing a platform for parents to gather and sharing their parenting experience, and establishing good home-school cooperation.
