Mid-Autumn Festival Celebrating Activities

Through Mid-Autumn Festival shadow play activities, Mid-Autumn stories, tasting festival foods, appreciating lanterns, and parent-child lantern riddle guessing .We will enrich and consolidate children’s understanding of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Through the Mid-Autumn Festival shadow play activities, children can learn about the customs and foods of the Mid-Autumn Festival, feel the festive atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival, and cultivate their attitude towards appreciating traditional Chinese performances.

Children listened to the Mid-Autumn Festival story shared by the teacher to understand the origin and activities of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Teacher and children played with lanterns and took photos in the tent of the big muscle room. It was so jollification!

Parent volunteers demonstrated to children how to make snowskin mooncakes, and then allowed the children to make snowskin mooncakes themselves.

The children tasted the delicious mooncakes and fruits together, and everyone was very happy!

Children and parents engage in parent-child lantern riddle guessing activities together and try to guess the answers to the lantern riddles. Afterwards, the children and their parents took photos together and everyone enjoyed guessing lantern riddles!
