Brief Discriptions

To mark National Security Education Day, the school organized activities related to China’s aerospace technology to help children learn about the country’s technological development and progress, thereby strengthening their sense of national identity as Chinese citizens. During the workshop, the instructor used presentations and quiz games to introduce the children to basic space knowledge and China’s space technology, while also showcasing the achievements of modern Chinese space technology. Following the educational activities on space technology, the instructor led the children in an art activity to make moon lanterns, allowing them to unleash their creativity and create unique, one-of-a-kind lanterns. In addition to the morning activities, an afternoon session was also held to further introduce China’s space technology. The teacher used the Chinese space story “The Stars in the Sky Are No Ordinary Stars” to help the children learn about the development of China’s space technology through the story. They also conducted extension activities such as “Rocket Launch” and making “Air Rockets.” Class teachers led the children in groups to the soccer field outside the school to play a rocket-launching game. Finally, during free play time, the children used clear plastic bottles, acrylic markers, and space-themed stickers to make rocket launchers. After completing their projects, they took them home to share the joy of launching rockets with their families.
