  • Cultivating children’s interest in puppet theater
  • Admiring the unique appearance and attire of marionettes and rod puppets

Brief Discriptions

To enhance young children's understanding of Chinese arts and culture, our school invited the Hong Kong Sky Bird Puppet Group to perform an intangible cultural heritage puppet show. The group presented three puppet performances for the children, including both rod puppetry and marionette (string puppet) shows.

During the event, the performers gave the children a brief introduction to the puppets’ appearance and costumes, as well as their operating mechanisms and techniques. They also invited several children to personally operate both types of puppets under guidance, allowing them to experience traditional Chinese artistic culture in a fun and relaxed atmosphere—and to gain a deeper appreciation for China's intangible cultural heritage.
