Focus of the Year
To arouse children’s interest in learning languages and enhance their proficiency in listening, speaking and writing, the school joined the “2019-2021 Scheme on Early Language and Literacy Development in Chinese and English Language of Young Children – Language Proficiency (English Language) Training Programme for Teachers” organised by the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research.
Teachers design interesting activities catering to children’s real-life experience, enabling them to learn English by practising listening and speaking more in natural scenarios. Moreover, teachers create and initiate meaningful extension activities so that children have more opportunities to express themselves and boost their confidence in using English.
